In October 2025, Shenzhen Chinaway signed a multi-year collaborative agreement with Tsinghua University’s Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering to co-develop next-generation ultra-low-concentration airborne particle detection technology. Funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the project targets detection limits below 1 particle/cm³ — a capability critical for gravitational wave observatories, quantum computing labs, and space simulation chambers. Chinaway contributes its expertise in optical cavity design and noise suppression, while Tsinghua leads theoretical modeling and calibration methodology. A prototype system is scheduled for validation at the China Spallation Neutron Source in Dongguan by Q2 2026.
